Downtown Champaign has plenty of cozy cafes. Aroma sets itself apart by using a blend of organic shade-grown coffee beans from Latin America. The blend features rich and dark sweet tones that finish with a lingering, smooth taste. Aroma offers several varieties of organic lemonades, protein smoothies and seasonal beverages for all to enjoy.

Aroma Cafe was re-opened by new ownership in March of 2012. Under the new ownership Aroma has expanded, remodeleled and has a great new variety of menu items. Aroma supports the local artists with art that is hung on the walls, a comfy leather couch sits in front of a fireplace, and a nook nestled in the corner with cushions. Guests can enjoy a game of chess and other board games provided by the cafe, or a slice of Sexy Toast, the cafe’s signature sandwiches, named because it is a delicious and well-presented menu item. Sexy Toast also happens to be the password for Aroma's Wi-Fi, offered every day of the week.

Aroma offers music with local musicians every Thursday night from 6-8pm. Aroma also offers a Sunday brunch from 8am-2pm.
